- With the enforcement of the Act to revise a part of the Unfair Competition Prevention Act, etc., the term defined by the Industrial Standardization Act was revised, namely the "Japanese Industrial Standards (日本工業規格)" was revised to "Japanese Industrial Standards (日本産業規格)".
In line with this revision, in “About Interpretation of Ministerial Ordinance for Establishing Technical Requirements for Electrical Appliances and Materials”, the revisions have been made to the places where the term is cited.
