TÜV Rheinland Singapore granted EV scope extension with use of exclusive SAC mark

TÜV Rheinland Singapore has been granted an extension of scope under the SAC Certificate of Accreditation NO.PD-2007-03, by the Council Committee for Certification (CCC).

The accreditation scope has been extended to include electrical vehicle charging system and plugs, socket outlets, vehicle connectors and vehicle inlets-conductive charging of electric vehicles.

With accreditation, TÜV Rheinland Singapore is allowed on the use of the exclusive SAC mark on the certificates that we issue for the accredited scope, which includes TR25 as required by Energy Market Authority Singapore (EMA).

The lab in TÜV Rheinland Shanghai is accredited by ISO17025 (CNAS) for those standards. We can provide local testing to the manufacturers in China; meanwhile, the experts of TÜV Rheinland Shanghai is authorized by TÜV Rheinland Singapore to perform technical assessment according to the requirement of Singapore. Our one stop service can fulfil the market needs.

The lab of TÜV Rheinland Shanghai (electrical accessories unit) is also the recognized Testing Laboratory by Enterprise Singapore (previously, SPRING). The scope covers all controlled products/standards under CPS (Singapore Consumer Protection) scheme. TÜV Rheinland Singapore could issue CoC as Enterprise accredited CAB, based on the test report from TÜV Rheinland Shanghai.
