In December 2019, TUV Rheinland Indonesia installed a new cornering fatigue testing (CFT) machine in their laboratory at Infinia Park, Jakarta. The new machine has a capacity for rims up to 24.5” diameter and a maximum applied bending moment of 50kNm, securing TUV Rheinland’s position as local market leader for wheel testing and the only independent test lab which can offer SNI 1896:2008 for truck rims. The lab is also accredited for testing to UN ECE R124 and INMETRO (Brazil) standards ABNT 6750:2009, 6751:2009 and 6752:2013, allowing a truly one-stop shop for market access.

The latest addition underscores our commitment to expand laboratory testing services for SNI and automotive component testing. In 2019, we also extended our scope to include inner tubes (SNI 6700:2012) and invested heavily in a glass & component testing lab which will be open for SNI testing in 2020.
