The industrial inspection business comprises services such as worldwide vendor inspections, expediting, site supervision during construction, as well as in-service inspections, all customized to the clients’ requirements. These services play an important role for growth of TÜV Rheinland industrial services in voluntary, non-regulated markets. One of the regional managers summarizes his views as: "In the energy and process market, the customer expenditure for voluntary inspection services is by far the larger portion of their total purchase of testing, inspection and certification services. We strive to further develop an even more customer-oriented business jointly with colleagues."
Ensure common quality standards worldwide
We are proud to be able to present major projects successfully concluded or currently being performed in Peru, Russia and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), among other regions. Our recent successes include site supervision during construction of a major pipeline over 1,000 km long (Peru), the supervision of transport of millions of tons of steel pipes to various contracts for worldwide vendor inspections for oil and gas installations as well as in-service inspections of onshore oil facilities (UAE). Here, TÜV Rheinland Middle East manages a worldwide vendor inspection project in Turkmenistan and has also been selected to support the reinstatement of the technical integrity of other gas plants and boilers.
