We now have the ability to perform “CAD” (Conformity Assessment Document) assessments for installations, specifically useful for the Australian and offshore markets.
TÜV Rheinland Australia Pty Ltd Project Leader Neil Wrightson has recently achieved recognition to issue “CAD” assessments under the ANZEx scheme. CAD assessments use IEC 60079‑14 Installation of Electrical Equipment in Explosive atmospheres to assess non ANZEx or IECEx equipment in Group II/III for installation in specific applications.
This extends the TÜV Rheinland Hazardous Area capabilities in Australia who specialise in the delivery of ANZEx, IECEx and ATEX certificates.
