An opportunity to be promote our Mobility Services in Thailand

TÜV Rheinland Thailand was given an opportunity to speak in the Automotive Summit 2019 during the seminar on ‘Smart Mobility Driving Tomorrow’s Society’ which was held between 19-20 June, at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC).

The Automotive Summit is a major and comprehensive event for the Thailand automotive industry which delivers knowledge on global automotive technology and developmental trends, including regulations, standards, and testing.

In this Automotive Summit 2019, the programme was broken down into 3 different sessions:

  • Smart Mobility Driving Tomorrow’s Society
  • CAV technology & Shared mobility [Technical session]
  • Low Carbon Vehicle Technology

We were honoured to have Mr. Kazushi Arima (pictured below) from TÜV Rheinland Japan as the speaker on EV Safety (Standard Regulation) Whole Vehicle Safety Testing. He covered EV safety for vehicles as a whole, which included electrical characteristics, electrical safety of HV components, and related standards & regulations.

About Mr. Kazushi Arima – He joined TÜV Rheinland Japan in 2013 as a senior Project Engineer and was then promoted to Head of Vehicle Type Approval in East Asia and Vice General Manager for Business Stream Mobility. In 2015, he was appointed to General Manager of Mobility. With his experience, he has developed a deep understanding of vehicles and certifications that applies not only to Japan but also the world at large.

Mr Stefan Heuer, Vice President of Mobility (APAC) was also present at the Summit

Since Thailand sponsored this event, we had a booth and our sales colleagues had the opportunity to network with key business stakeholders/leaders, senior government officers, and entrepreneurs in the Mobility sector.
