Overview of Accredited Certifications
Our accredited personnel certification in the area of quality (QM specialists)
QM specialists trained according to TÜV guidelines are examined and certified by PersCert TÜV, a certification body, in the following areas:
- Quality representative (TÜV)
- Quality manager (TÜV)
- Quality auditor (TÜV)
A TÜV certification is proof of expertise widely recognised in the industry and service sector.
Certification is granted according to TÜV guidelines, which are based on the EOQ requirements and recognised by DAkkS. Accredited certificates from PersCert TÜV are a highly regarded proof of expertise. They provide access to leadership roles in organisations, up to and including the role of auditor for a certification body.
Before earning a certification in quality management, participants first had to prepare for the PersCert exam in a seminar held by TÜV Rheinland Akademie or one of its licence holders. As an admission requirement for personnel certification, certification holders have had to prove their expertise in an exam carried out by PersCert, the independent personnel certification body of TÜV.
PersCert TÜV examines and certifies participants on behalf of interested training providers. This is only possible if training providers offer training according to TÜV guidelines or obtain a license to use the training documents of TÜV Rheinland Akademie.
Our accredited personnel certification in the area of safety (EHS personnel)
The SCC regulations, which came into force in 2011, contain specifications for EHS training courses and exams for operationally active employees and managers at contractor companies.
As an accredited personnel certification body, PersCert TÜV is authorised to carry out the following certifications:
- EHS exam for operationally active managers as per doc. 017 of the SCC guidelines
- EHS exam for operationally active employees as per doc. 018 of the SCC guidelines
The SCC certificates issued by PersCert TÜV provide proof of the expertise of employees and managers in the fields of occupational health and safety and environmental protection and are recognised in Germany and numerous other countries (in particular the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland).
Our accredited personnel certification in the rail sector (rail sector specialists)
As the only personnel certification body for "Examiners for train drivers" in Germany accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024, PersCert TÜV contributes to safety in the rail sector.
Deutsche Bahn and numerous other railway companies conduct qualification programs for examiners who assess the operational capability of locomotive drivers in recurring exams.
These examiners demonstrate their expertise in a certification procedure involving an initial exam and then a recertification exam every 5 years.

CQI IRCA accreditations (reference number: 01185221)
The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) is a global professional organisation promoting the practice of quality management in all areas. The International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) is the largest and most important international certification body for auditors of management systems. As well as certifying auditors, CQI IRCA allows organisations to obtain recognition as training providers by IRCA and to have individual auditor training courses certified. The IRCA training guidelines ensure a uniform standard for auditors.
CQI IRCA only approves organisations that have demonstrated the required technical and training know-how and are able to assess and examine the performance of potential auditors correctly.

IRCA-certified OH&S Management Systems auditor training provides occupational health and safety experts with the knowledge and skills they need to assess whether the occupational health and safety management system in an organisation complies with the requirements set down in the standard OHSAS 18001. - PR316 - Energy:
Energy Management Systems (EnMS)
IRCA-certified EnMS auditor training provides the knowledge and skills necessary to assess the conformity and performance of an organisation's energy management system. - PR320 - Information security: Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)IRCA-certified ISMS auditor training provides information security experts with the knowledge and skills they need to assess whether the information security management system in an organisation complies with ISO 27001.
- PR328 and PT233 - Quality management:Quality Management Systems (QMS)
IRCA-certified QMS auditor training provides quality management experts with the knowledge and skills they need to assess the conformity and performance of an organisation's QM system. Auditors thereby contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes. - PR315 - Environment:Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
IRCA-certified EMS auditor training provides environmental management experts with the knowledge and skills they need to assess whether the environmental management system in an organisation complies with ISO 14001:2015.
