EV Japan is one of the leading exhibitions in Asia for Electric Vehicles and Hybrid Electric Vehicles with more than 1 000 companies participating as exhibitors and more than 25,000 visitors. On top of its certification services, TÜV Rheinland Japan presented information on Testing, Evaluation and Certification services for the Electric Vehicle and charging system, which is an essential part of the growing EV market. The EV market is expected to increase by 22.4 percent over the next two decades.

Guests who were interested were able to see, touch and try the certified EV charging stations in order to gain  better understanding of the new technology and its associated possibilities. Experts from TÜV Rheinland Japan were also present at the show to explain the technology and the certification requirements to visitors.

A seminar, conducted by Mr. Yamaki (Project Manager), on regulatory requirements and the latest trends for EV, PHEV, FCV & V2X was also held on Thursday. Mr. Yamaki presented to more than 100 attendees about the current developments and the trends to be expected from now on, as well as the offered certifications from TÜV Rheinland Japan. The seminar was especially well-received and numerous visitors from abroad also showed great interests in the topic and related services.

The team at the booth was also supported by a special TÜV Rheinland “blue man” who showed up at the booth at intervals. The “blue man” spoke Japanese this time and supported the TÜV Rheinland booth, did you get the chance to speak to him too?

We are thankful to all our guests for this successful event and we hope to see you again soon!
