A proud moment for TÜV Rheinland Arabia LLC (Pakistan Office) by completing the world's first textiles industry AWS (Alliance for Water Stewardship) Audit.
TÜV Rheinland in Pakistan has achieved a new milestone for Customized Audit services by completing the world's first textiles industry Audit in March 2020 according to AWS (Alliance for Water Stewardship).
This was the first-ever certification of AWS for the textile sector globally. The certification audits were completed on AWS 2.0 version, which is the most recent version used by TÜV Rheinland Arabia LLC (Pakistan Office) for the very first time globally.
We would like to extend our appreciation and congratulate the whole TÜV Rheinland Arabia in Pakistan Office for this achievement and in particular our colleagues Mr. Rashid Mansoor (Manager Supply Chain Audits & Customized Services in Pakistan), Regional management team Mr. Ganga Charan Sharma (IMEA Region) and Mr. Ike Xu from our Greater China branch.
AWS representative endorsed this achievement and witnessed the activities of the whole audit. Two factories of US group Pakistan named as US Denim Mill (Pvt.) Ltd and US Apparel and Textiles (Pvt.) Ltd-Unit 2 & 5 have achieved the core level-certification.
TÜV Rheinland Pakistan office is currently in the process of further advancing this achievement by expanding the Customized audit services for local and multinational brands.
