As the pace of new product introductions increases, the line between a “traditional” AV devices and an ITE (Information Technology Equipment) is changing beyond recognition.

With the 3rd edition published in October 2018, the key updates include addition of requirements for outdoor equipment, wireless power transmitters, work cells, fully insulated winding wires and insulating liquids. Furthermore, requirements for optical radiation and sound pressure are also described in this edition.
