TÜV Rheinland Japan acquires JIS Q 17020:2012 (ISO/IEC17020:2012) accreditation for factory inspection services to manufacturers of home appliance and electrical products

TÜV Rheinland Japan has been accredited by Japan Accreditation Board (JAB) on March 28, 2017, in accordance with JIS Q 17020:2012 (ISO/IEC 17020:2012) to provide factory inspection services to manufacturers of home appliance and electrical products. A ceremony was held at the TÜV Rheinland Japan Head Office in June 2017 to mark the granting of accreditation.


This accreditation demonstrates that TÜV Rheinland Japan has been assessed and evaluated by JAB for its conformity with JIS Q 17020:2012 (ISO/IEC 17020:2012: Conformity assessment -- Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection). This accreditation will further enhance reliability of products certified by TÜV Rheinland Japan both in domestic and international markets.
