TÜV Rheinland Provides Holistic Training for Transformation Managers of Industry 4.0

TÜV Rheinland Indonesia and Ministry of Industry handed over certificates to 65 participants of Transformation Managers of Industry 4.0. The event was held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), Tangerang on Tuesday, 16th April 2019.

The ceremony started with an opening speech by Mr. Ngakan Timur Antara, Head of the Agency for Research and Development of Industry (BPPI), followed by a handing over certificate ceremony by Ms. Dian Suprapto as Local Officer Manager of Academy & Life Care of TÜV Rheinland Indonesia.

“We are really delighted that TÜV Rheinland is able to provide the participants with groundbreaking solutions and support them to embrace Industry 4.0” stated Ms. Dian Suprapto.

Since 2018, Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry has designed ‘Making Indonesia 4.0’ as an integrated roadmap to implement a number of strategies to enter the Industry 4.0 era. The roadmap requires collaborative actions among multiple stakeholders that range from government institutions, associations and industry players, to academic elements.

The roadmap was launched last year in April, and its focus is on the capability upgrading of five manufacturing sectors: F&B, automotive, electronics, chemicals, and textile.

The introduction of Industry 4.0 has tremendous potential in overhauling not just the industrial aspects, but various aspects of human life.
