TÜV Rheinland India Offers Testing Services of Protective Face Masks

3-1The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically increased the need for face masks, not just for frontline healthcare workers but for the general population at large. Many companies in the textile and fashion industry have reacted swiftly by manufacturing medical as well as reusable masks. In order to support the combat of the COVID-19 virus, TÜV Rheinland, an international independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification service provider has announced the launch of testing services for Protective Face Masks and medical coveralls which comply with national and international standards including Indian standards such as IS 16289 for surgical masks, EN 14683 and ASTM F2100.
