There is a high demand for safe and fast transportation in Indonesia for a country with high population mobility. In order to meet the quality and safety needs of our customers, TÜV Rheinland proudly presents TÜV Rheinland Indonesia Tire Laboratory, accredited by the Indonesia National Accreditation Body (KAN) on 16 September 2015 (KAN’s accreditation number LP-933-IDN). Offering various types of testing, inspection, and certification services, our laboratory is constructed on advanced standards and is equipped with high quality testing equipment.
In 2015, TÜV Rheinland Indonesia Tire Laboratory had issued and certified clients from across 16 countries, with a total of 179 issued SNI Certificates for Tire. Our Tire Laboratory expert team offers tire testing and approval services such as Tire Testing Services, Tire Testing Capabilities, and Tire Testing Machines across a spectrum of tire types. They include passenger car, tube tires, truck and bus, light truck, and motor cycle.
The construction processes of TÜV Rheinland Tire Laboratory building plan started in the beginning of 2014. We created an investment proposal and business plan and forged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to officiate partnerships with one of our clients, which is also a reputable tire manufacturer from France.
We took the next extensive step to start the preparation to build the Tire Laboratory, from the selection of the location and building, furniture supplies to examining equipment procurement. We then signed an agreement and an SNI approval with our client. Since the beginning of 2015, we have installed tools within the facility and started operations after KAN assessed and accredited our Tire Laboratory, located in Taman Tekno, South Tangerang.
